We would like to present our new log house project, where we have built a residential two-storey log house in Vilkija, Kaunas district. After the implementation of stricter energy requirements, we think this is one of the last residential log houses in Lithuania. This house has been built from 22 cm diameter dried pine logs. The logs interconnected by a wedge-type “Scandinavian lock”. Since the edges of the lock are sloping – the logs interconnect and lock at their ends` [supsystic-gallery id=9]
